EIT Food is Europe’s leading food innovation initiative, working to make the food system more sustainable, healthy and trusted. EIT Food, established by the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT), is building an inclusive and innovative community of diverse food sector partners, to drive innovation and entrepreneurship across Europe.
The European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) Food supports the innovation of the food sector aiming at a more sustainable future, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and following the principles of the Paris Agreement. The Leuven 2030 food strategy represents for EIT Food a living lab where the food system stakeholders work together to achieve this relevant mission and to create a replicable environment serving as an example for many other cities in the EU.
